BEATRIZ ARIANNA

Born in Mexico City and raised in the Bay Area, Beatriz Arianna knew from an early age that she wanted to be a fashion designer. As a child, she played with her Barbies, cut their clothes, and made new fashion. For example, she would cut the Barbie’s pants into shorts, add glitter or flowers, and something so simple made a difference. Fashion has always been an important part of her identity because it shows her uniqueness in how she views the world. That is why she pursued a Bachelor of Fine Art (BFA) degree of Fashion Design from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco May 2023.

Beatriz Arianna specializes in womenswear with an emphasis in special occasion gowns and RTW, interestedly you will find that she plays in her designs with volume and functionality. She believes fashion should be fun, self-expressive, and sophisticated but at the same time functioning with the woman’s silhouette without compromising comfort. Concept design, patternmaking and technical flats are her top strengths. She finds inspiration from different points of view such as personal experiences or places traveled to. In every inspiration she feels the need to connect with her feelings to develop her designs for the collections. As a former Bridal Stylist, Beatriz Arianna gained the experience of knowing what silhouette fits different body shapes. Currently, Beatriz has an internship as an Apparel Prototype Engineer and works as a CSR Alterations intern for David's Bridal.
